Lisa has dedicated her career to supporting elite athletes across a wide range of professional sports, earning her reputation as a trusted expert in injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimization.
As the founder of Back 2 Normal Physical Therapy, Lisa has built a world-class, patient-focused center dedicated to personalized care. She is a trailblazer in holistic therapy, combining cutting-edge techniques with advanced orthopedic manual physical therapy, and more. Drawing on her clinical and teaching background, Lisa created a customized Whole Body Healing Certification, a program in which her team of experts is exclusively trained. This certification embodies her philosophy of addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction to achieve lasting results.
As the Director of Sport Sciences and Medicine for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for over a decade, she oversaw the health and performance of athletes competing at the highest levels, including the Australian Open, Wimbledon, the French Open, and the U.S. Open. She also served as the Primary Health Care Provider for the International Tennis Federation during the 2004 Athens Olympics, where her expertise ensured athletes performed at their best on the world stage.

Collaborating with world-class athletes, professional sports teams, coaches, medical experts, and fitness specialists globally, Lisa remains committed to helping athletes of all levels reach their full potential. Her unique methods are trusted by those who demand the highest standards of care in the pursuit of excellence.

 

Lisa is equally passionate about education. She lectures internationally, training medical professionals and therapists to achieve superior outcomes through her whole-body approach. She co-developed the certification in Functional Manual Medicine at Michigan State University, where she has served as an adjunct clinical professor since 1998. Additionally, Lisa is the creator of two online learning platforms, the Rehab Links Systems and Back 2 Normal On Demand, further amplifying her mission to help others heal and thrive.

Lisa Chase, PT, is as passionate about life outside the clinic as she is about helping her clients achieve their goals. A lifelong learner, Lisa finds inspiration in books like The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, Beyond Grit by Cindra Kampoff, The Go-Giver by Bob Burg, and The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. She also enjoys diving into motivational podcasts such as Movement Podcast, Secrets for Success by Greg Todd, DarrenDaily on Demand, and The Under Current Podcast. When it’s time to unwind, her playlists are filled with timeless Motown and R&B classics.

When Lisa isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family, her husband Jon, and their little dachshund, Buster Brown. You’ll also often find her immersed in activities that nurture her mind and spirit. She stays active through Pilates and cycling, enjoys reading and traveling to new destinations, and indulges her creative side through gardening and cooking—especially Thai cuisine.

Giving back is a cornerstone of her life and she has a passion for supporting local businesses and her community. She has a deep compassion for supporting women suffering from domestic violence, particularly through CASA Pinellas, and participates in community events promoting health and wellness, including her favorite, the St. Pete Run Fest.
