At the age of 63, I’ve been plagued with advanced lower lumbar degenerative arthritis for over ten years. For the past three and a half years I’ve regularly been treated through a pain management clinic recommended by my physician. I experienced multiple epidurals, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation on both sides of my spine.

For the past three and a half years I’ve regularly been treated through a pain management clinic recommended by my physician. This was all combined with daily stretching exercises and at times appointments for physical therapy. With all of this, I would still end up on pain medications and/or visits to the ER because I would have such spasms I physically could not move and would be in excruciating pain. Needless to say, I was totally frustrated and depressed. I then heard about the MELT method and located Lisa Chase. After introducing me to it’s basic premise and giving me my first hands-on session, I understood what the concept behind MELT could do for me. While the changes were subtle, there was a positive change in my overall assessment in various areas of my body. Three months later, I continue to MELT regularly, am on no pain meds, and have not needed any visits to my doctor. Am I pain free, “no”. However, the most important accomplishment for me is I’m feeling the best I have in an extremely long time, managing my pain and therefore, able to live my life with much more gusto. I attribute this to being a faithful follower of the MELT method.
