LMT, Muscular & Structural Rehabilitation Specialist

Robert is the newest member of the Back 2 Normal family. He is a Licensed Massaged Therapist (LMT) and Muscular & Structural Rehabilitation Specialist who provides deeply effective hands-on techniques that help increase mobility, decrease pain and creates freedom from long-term injuries and misalignment. Robert graduated with honors from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in 2012. He returned to be a faculty member from 2014-2016, teaching a capstone class in Curriculum Integration, a course combining all learned techniques to enter the manual therapy industry as an LMT.

Before his career as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Robert spent twenty years as an Educational Consultant and Performing Artist in Dance and Theater. He traveled extensively throughout the Northeast region, conducting trainings and performances for young audiences, educators, primary through graduate level, corporate teams, psychologists, civic leaders, and elder communities. He also provided training for the DODDS-Atlantic in England, Italy, and Spain with the repertory dance company with whom he was a member for four years.

Robert became interested in natural healing, nutrition, bodywork, and yoga in his late teens which have helped him maintain his physical and energetic health throughout his working life. When not assisting clients with therapeutic massage, Robert loves to garden, bicycle, and dance.

He brings extensive experience from his long-term study and certifications in Cranial-Structural (Structural Energetic Therapy®), Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (Erik Dalton), Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapies, Pre/Post Surgery Scar Tissue Release, Active Isolated Stretching (Aaron Mattes), and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder). In addition to Soothing Relaxation Massage to provide a foundation for long term health and wellness.
