Every year, the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce acknowledges and recognizes women in the Pinellas County area who have made a significant impact in the community. The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce serves almost 900 business members and aims to provide economic growth and vitality to the community. Among the Chamber is the Women’s Leadership Council. The Council empowers women in the business world and provides the tools needed to grow their business and excel in both their careers and communities.

Known as the Iconic Women of St. Petersburg – Celebrating Women with Vision, the event not only raises awareness and supports funding for the Chamber – which in turn supports the development of businesses in St. Petersburg – but more importantly, honors the women who have become leaders in both in their careers and communities. There are six categories that women can be nominated for including, Business Woman of the Year, Entrepreneur Woman of the Year, Non-Profit Woman of the Year, Community Service Woman of the Year, Woman to Watch and Inspire Woman of the Year.

Our very own Lisa Chase was a nominee and finalist for the Iconic Women’s Award for Entrepreneur Woman of the Year, becoming a top three finalist amongst many amazing women. In building Back 2 Normal as a holistic, community focused physical therapy studio and wellness center, Lisa has brought something to St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay Area that few communities are so lucky to possess. Alongside the other nominees, Lisa exemplifies the value that empowered, female leaders can bring to their communities.
